Acosta will get paid through the end of his generous, probably multimillion dollar contract, land somewhere in a think tank or get a book deal to continue to spout his deranged self-absorbed nonsense, get paid handsomely to do it, and be farting through dry cleaned silk boxers for the rest of his life. This isn’t really a punishment on him per se. He’ll, he will probably be invited back on New Years for a gauzy “year in review” segment just to act like it was mutual.
This is an admission on the part of CNN however, that they don’t see the Acosta style of TV presenting as something thst will make the company the type of money it wants to make... and that is something.
