We have been 20 years in the wilderness after firing Fulmer. We definitely have a coach, but we really need a secondary.
Proud of my Vols today and hat tip to both QB’s. Most I have yelled for a Tennessee game in many years. I would say the SEC looks a lot like West Coast ball but the offenses are just that good.
Rocky Top!
PS - Hyatt (#11 Receiver) will definitely get SEC player of the week and likely national too. What a performance!
Great game. Alabama is going to have a lot of “what ifs” to contend with this week.
Tennessee/Georgia is shaping up to be the next big SEC game to watch, along with Alabama/Ole Miss.
I am in mourning. The vols really. Flash backs to the 80s.
I’ve hated Phil Fulmer for a long long time, but I guess you could say he was a good coach. Just not one of my faves.
And Bama has to go to Ole Miss.
That it was!
I was in Knoxville when we won 10 in a row. The down years are what make the great years so sweet. You guys have had a lot of them with Saban at the helm and likely more to come.
That was a great game for the offenses. Tennessee’s lack of depth and skill in the backfield is going to be hard to overcome though the rest of the season and I think the UGA defense is better and offense is at least as good.
Crossing my fingers!
Alabama deserved to loose that game with so many penalties but heart breaking. But I always say of that close to begin with and mistakes loose it, shame on you
Yep, and Alabama is not the same team on the road.
I was surprised to see that the Gators get to play at the Swamp again for the third game in a row. However, it turns out it’s Tom Petty Day. I should so be there. I guess I am in spirit.
Man, you were close!
I’m even less of a fan of Georgia (THWG!), which means that I will likely be pulling for Tennessee. That shows you how crazy things are right now.
Close!
I had Pedostate. Would never bet on them.
The TN/AL game was a classic.
It would be interesting to see the Vols and the Tide play in the SEC championship.
Yeah that would be interesting.
My Gators need to get going!
They’ve quit. And that’s a bad sign for Napier.
I think it will be Tennessee and Ole Miss.
The only question is, will Tennessee fans be bringing the mustard?
Napier lost me with the end of the first half, what the hell was that?
No idea what Napier was thinking there. I know it’s not much, but I’m glad AR got that touchdown. I’m a little behind. Had to pause the game for a few.
So frustrated.
