I really feel sorry for children growing up today. With all of the leftist garbage being pushed, how will they have a normal childhood?

We are going to have to stop the war against dads first.

We are victims of are own success. Capitalism, innovations and technological advances has helped to changed the typical stereotypes of society. The dynamics of men in this current horizon are plenty, more suicides, a general black pill in thought, the loss of ambition, etc.

It began in 1968 after the murder of Bobby Kennedy. It was blamed on “violence” There was a discussion on how to make boys more feminine and less masculine.

I remember those days and the anti-gun anti-violence madness following the Kennedy murder by a Palestinian immigrant.

In that madness blame was placed on TV shows which were very mild, pulp fiction books, guns, movies made under the Hays Code.

So, TV shows dumbed down to kiddie shows, pulp books changed their covers, the 1968 gun control law was passed...

But movies got a pass when the producers said they would “police themselves” with a joke of a ratings system, the first being “GMRX”.

With the Hays code now dead they reshot scenes and added more blood, guts, and lots of sex to get the coveted “R” and “X” ratings.
Now with cable TV and video games it is even worse.

1) Reject passivity
2) Expect God’s greater reward
3) Accept responsibility
4) Lead courageously

I was out walking with my wife and 11 year old son today. Beautiful fall day in Massachusetts. We were walking through a field and I said to them this is the type of field we played “guns” in when I was a kid (I was born in 1970).

All the neighborhood kids would agree on the field or patch of woods ( almost all boys, not sure what the girls were doing) where we would play guns. We all had multiple toy guns, or homemade wooden guns, sometimes unloaded BB guns, etc.

We’d cobble together military “uniforms” and have at it. Hours of fun. Nobody would bat an eye at 5 kids walking down the road all armed with various toy guns.

When we were a little older we’d have “wars”. These were teams of kids armed with homemade wooded swords, shields, spears, chain maces, etc. We’d camp in the woods and hunt each team down and battle through the night. My parents could care less that I was sleeping in the woods.

The kids these days do all this online. They battle with video controllers, talk on headsets, play for hours. All 3 of my boys do this, all “ shooter” games. So you can argue too much screen time, but the overall theme is similar. My kids are trying to “kill” their friends in a video game shooter or teaming up to kill another group of kids.

Would I prefer they were out beating the crap out of each other in the woods? Probably, but that ship has sailed. Either way, I’m not worried about my kids masculinity.

But man did I have a fun childhood that lead to 24 years in the Army.
