Reporters report what they find. You don’t make “special exceptions” for anyone. Doing so would be biased journalism. A sitting US senator who can’t hear the floor debates? That’s newsworthy, honey. And if your husband can’t handle it, he needs to drop out of the race.

If Fetterman were unable to process information at all the complaints would be the same. It doesn’t really matter, though. Elect a Democrat and you get the precise same scripted votes in Congress and if the Senator/Representative is unable to push the appropriate button he will have an aide to do it for him. There is no reason to have individual Democrat names on the ballot. All are generic and functionally identical. They do not pull their own strings.
