The magazine of a 10-22 seems too complicated to be something that can last a long time or be repaired using hand tools. It certainly can’t be fashioned in the home shop. That is why I chose .22s with straight forward magazines.

I’m still using the original 6 ten round rotary magazines I bought 15 years ago. No issues whatsoever. I have 8 of the 25 round variant I’ve had for several years, too. No issues to report.
Ruger makes quality stuff.
