Liz Truss in trouble and could be gone "within weeks"

She has just fired her chancellor. My source tell me that she herself could face the boot.

The plan by MPs is to have the former chancellor (and Goldman Sachs alumni) Rishi Sunak to stand unopposed for the leadership once she is removed.

This will mean there wouldn't be a contest and he would effectively be installed as PM.

Sunak was the overwhelming choice of the MPs while Truss was the choice of the party members.

My source says this could happen within weeks...

They would have to change the rules to do this and I'm told this isn't a problem as the situation is dire.

“you can bet joe is behind this”

Well, actually whoever “installed” Joe is behind this, It’s kind of like a domino effect.

The die was cast when she reversed herself on tax cuts.

In politics, you don’t hand a knife to your rivals when you know they will stab you in the back.
