Are the girls complaining or are they being well compensated and someone else is using the issue for their own benefit?

This is almost a description of Jerry Jones behavior after he bought the Dallas Cowboys if we take out the term "trade favors" and substitute "be personal." I know this from first hand accounts and it has been reported as well.
