I wouldn’t nuke Russia if they nuked France.
Why would France be required to nuke Russia if Russia nuked Ukraine? The whole reason France has it’s independent nuclear arsenal is to protect France. Does anyone ask Israel if they would launch on Russia in response to Russia Ukraine?

Who cares what happens to that corrupt POS Ukraine? Not worth a dime of American blood or treasure. The only reason biden has sent them them billions of our money is to protect himself, his family and a very corrupt dc establishment.
“Fundamental interests of the nation.” Macron is probably right. Makes me wonder what America’s fundamental interests are in Ukraine. (Actually, it doesn’t. I know we have none.)
French nuclear doctrine has always been to only use nuclear weapons when France is threatened - that’s the whole point of France’s nuclear deterrent in the first place. It would be newsworthy if Macron changed France’s defense footing.
There is no sensible reason I can think of, apart from a crazy desire to commit suicide.
How why would France commit suicide for the clowns ruling Ukraine?
France might as well just surrender now.
There is NO reason for the US to be supporting either side in this European war.
France is an ally, the Ukraine is not.
France is also in NATO, the Ukraine is not.
