“I’ve been seeing more people wearing masks again. If you’re 80 something, I get it. But anyone else....come on! If we could stop viruses with a simple mask we would have been doing “masks” decades ago.”
We are seeing the same out here on the left coast.
Most of the mask wearers are women. A few younger adult women and most are probably in their 60-70’s.
We live in area with some steep hills and where it can be on the windy side. We are seeing zero masks on the walkers, and we have a lot walkers.
In the past couple of weeks, on my grocery shopping, 2Xs a week. I’m seeing more women with masks in the stores. Some try to suggest a mask, and I tell them, apparently they believe that their masks protect them. So don’t worry about me. Also, I don’t go shopping if I don’t feel good.
Basically zero clerks wearing masks in the two stores where I shop.
My wife, siblings and most of our friends are 80+, and we don’t wear any damn masks.
I have noticed that Asians seem to wear masks at a higher rate as well.
