In a state of irrational fear and scientific ignorance, this poor woman has bought into the vile fiction -- the vile delusion -- that wearing a mask offers protection from contracting or spreading a respiratory virus.

From my learned perspective, the medical "professionals" who promote masking as a way to control a respiratory virus have lost all of whatever credibility they may have once had to dispense medical advice ... or to be trusted.

I thought it would take a generation for the medical industry to regain the trust it threw away but now realize the medical "professionals" are never going to regain that trust and nor do they care to.
