I have to admit they were good, no nonsense teachers and I want them to be my kids teachers over what the NEA prevents to be teachers today
Mine were old ladies who started teaching in the ‘30s when jobs for women were hard to get. We kids were scared of them.
Yep, same as mine.Whatvreally blew me away I was with my Granny and she said she was visiting an old friend and I didn’t think nothing of it until her friend opened her door.
It was one of my “old dragon” teachers and she was the nicest lady. I was stunned!!! I wasn’t sure it wasn’t an act but got to know her in years to come and visited her when she was basically on her deathbed.
She took her job seriously and was a professional. Wish we had more like her,the world would be in better shape.
