It used to be that comic books were a good investment. I have a friend who keeps old comic books in mint condition, and has made some good money selling them.

Good question. It does seem as if these superhero movies are big hit movies, which in turn causes Hollywood to churn out more of them, sequels, reboots, etc.

I don't get the superhero thing with adults either. No appeal to me whatsoever. Even the Batman movies were stupid. The last comic book I read is when I was about 12. Unless you count MAD magazine, which I might have read a few years longer.
