“Pit bulls or part pits are growing in number, because people who like them tend not to like spaying and neutering.”

Not true.

I’ve had nothing but pit-mixes over the last 30 years or so, two males and one female. All were rescues. All were neutered or spayed. As one passed, we replaced it with another. All three were and are great dogs.

We have a large, fenced yard, and it has become somewhat of a “dog park” for friends and neighbors. None of my dogs have ever been aggressive towards any of the other dogs or their people. All my dogs happily played and play with the other dogs.

You want to put all pits down? Then YOU go to their owners, and tell them you want to kill their dogs.

So what happened the first time one of your “sweet” dog gets aggressive with other people or other dogs and your dog park?
I think you shouldn’t be defensive about your dogs I think you should lock them up if you’re gonna keep them. Don’t let them be around other people or dogs ever.

I meant put down all pits in shelters, don’t adopt them out, even the sweet ones.
