I have two dogs, and they are both very protective of my son. One will sleep at the foot of his bed, and the other will be at the top of the stairs outside his room. The only time they try “playing” us is they’ll both act as if they haven’t been fed yet to try and get more food.
And the only time I’ve seen them get aggressive is if a pitbull comes around.
