Two dogs make a pack. They will work together against their prey because instinct takes over. Even non-pits will do this in the right situations. Not kill necessarily, but will do it even in play against the “master.”

Heartbreaking for the family.

I have two dogs, and they are both very protective of my son. One will sleep at the foot of his bed, and the other will be at the top of the stairs outside his room. The only time they try “playing” us is they’ll both act as if they haven’t been fed yet to try and get more food.

And the only time I’ve seen them get aggressive is if a pitbull comes around.
