I thought this was a good landing video to post here.
Spectacular views from a plane approaching LaGuardia airport on March 6, 2020.
This was exactly a week before the city shut down for the stupid COVID scam. It would have been a Friday afternoon and I would have been in my office on Lexington Avenue (almost dead center behind the UN Building at 3:33 of this video).
Exactly a week after that, I had to tell my people to take their laptops home as I was informed we were shutting down for a couple weeks (remember 15 days to stop the spread?). What a bunch of nonsense. The city was never the same after that.
Anyway, I had been on this flight path many times heading into LaGuardia and this is the best video I've found of that particular flight path. New York is a spectacular city to see from the air.
On Sunday night, I flew from San Diego to JFK and there was a full moon as I landed. I wish I had taken a picture to post here but that landing was spectacular as the moonlight shone off NYC harbor as we were coming across Long Island for the final approach.
Luv Manhattan.
Park my car Upper East Side at Eli’s Bakery and then a nice walk down 2nd street to Battery Park for either a Pretzel or a Perhogi and a Diet Coke
Beautiful
