Yes, the same upper middle class people who put the virtue signaling lawn signs in their suburban yards like "Black Lives Matter", "Hate Has No Home Here" and "Refugees Welcome Here" actually mean the exact opposite.

Let's consider the lawn sign and their most likely reaction to the following:

Black Lives Matter = They will immediately call 911 if they see a black man in a hoodie walking through their neighborhood that does not have a leaf blower or lawn mower with him.

Hate Has No Home Here = Knock on their door and tell them you are canvassing for the Trump campaign and they scream and yell at you in the most hateful manner.

Refugees Welcome Here = Setup a tent on the sidewalk out front and they will immediately call the police on you and have you removed.

I live near a very woke blue town in a red state. So lots of signs. I’ve noticed that the BLM and no room for hate here signs have started disappearing.
