Diacetyl was found to be what was causing holes to develop in people’s lungs after vaping, it was a flavoring (who wants popcorn flavored smoke?)

Wasn’t the vaping itself but it gave the nanny state an excuse to go after the industry.

I generally tell people to use an air pop popcorn popper. Popcorn is low on carbs and a fantastic pre biotic aka bug food for the lower gut.
