I heard that for the very first time last week on a station that used to be good. Used to be “great oldies”, but recently added ‘80s and ‘90s stuff. This song came on and I Shazam-ed it. Truly terrible!

Children’s song? The entire population of the UK would disagree. It hit #1 on the UK charts when I was stationed there...to my disgust. I had never heard of the song until I clicked on this thread. It sounds like it's from a kid's cartoon show or a video game. But if "Star Trekking" is typical of what pop music fans are listening to today, I think I'll head back to the 1920's-1930's, my home in the world of pop music.

Yup - there it is. Starship - “We Built This City”. Worst song I’ve ever heard in any language. Just so bad on multiple levels. Silly rabbits, that was an imitation; this is the real band that built that city on rock and roll.
