I saw Donovan do Atlantis live at a small venue, The Stephen Talkhouse, in Miami Beach in the early '90s. It was very good.

That's awesome! I brought it up because tis the season for fall drives where my wife likes to play Halloween-related music. One of her selections is regularly "Season of the Witch". This selection inevitably leads me to demand she then play Atlantis and allow me to increase the car stereo volume by a few notches.

I have to take care not to bang my head on the steering wheel when I shout the "WAY DOWN" part of the lyric.

That was from Less Than Zero when Robert Downey Jr. started “really getting messed up”.

I like the song in general, but the rap lyrics about a man from Mars is really quite lame.

Now “Mellow Yellow” on the other hand, is pretty annoying.

That was one of those movies like Last Exit to Brooklyn, where it’s hard to watch a second time. But boy was Jamie Gertz hot in black . . .

Weird Al is still the reining king of music parody, with apologies to Paul Shanklin.

I mainly remember her from Lost Boys with Jason PAtrick, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Keifer Sutherland, and others.

Quick trivia tidbit, The one vampire with long black hair won the finals on American Gladiators. (Billy Worth)

I listened to the Star Wars Soundtrack, Barry Manilow, Linda Ronstadt, and Herb Alpert.

Ok, ok. Not bad at all! Nothing like the wood smell of the speakers and the wonderful chew of the speaker foam covers for me!

I’ll just stick with the axiom that there are two types of people: those who love ABBA, and those who won’t admit it.

Jami married well. I think her husband is worth around $3 billion.

Leo Sayer songs are pretty annoying too.
