I understand the need for them in certain rare cases.
However the point was that this person was lying in the claim that they are basically of no consequence and safe and reversible.
I wasn’t disagreeing with you, Metmom. There are legitimate medical uses, but how they are being used on kids is horrifying.
And you are correct. The effects are not irreversible.
