I used to think that.

But, the F1 tracks are much more difficult. It’s not just about going fast. It’s about driving, pit strategy, tire strategy, and the long haul of the season.

I will watch Indy series and NASCAR…the good thing about racing is you can enjoy all of the different types. Each type has its pros and cons.

Why? Driving, pit strategy and tire strategy don’t matter in Indy Car??

You know how many different drivers won F1 races this year? 4 in 18 races

You know how many different drivers won Indy car races this year? 9 in 17 races

oh- and btw- disagree 10000% F1 tracks are more difficult than Indy car street/road courses. F1 tracks are designed with huge paved run off areas, many of the street courses besides the road course.

Indy?? The paved run off areas are nil compared to F1.

Indy car?? Four dedicated road courses/6 street courses the rest ovals.

F1? 16 dedicated road courses/ 5 street courses including Miami
