How stupid does one have to be to leave America to vacation in Communist China
A humorous mystery series set in Hong Kong before the handover. 99cents for the first one an kindle:
“Among the gangsters and the goldsmiths of Hong Bay, Chief Inspector Feiffer and his police department had their hands full . . . tourist troubles, a US sailor turned stick-up artist, and the jealous Chinese who solved his marital difficulties with an axe.
Then the Mongolian with a kukri brought an extra touch of terror to the district . . .
Yellowthread Street brings to vivid life a seamy world where people called Osaka Oniki the Disemboweller, Shotgun Sen and The Chopper feel at home, a world of surreal possibility recorded with unique humour and a poignant sense of humanity.”
Drawing tomorrow, $401 million.
Could Gov. Abbott and Gov. DeSantis send a few thousand people?
One-way tickets only. I wonder if there is a Hong Kong version of Martha’s Vineyard.
Might buy a ticket if I remember. Or not.
The odds of winning are quite astronomical, but if you don’t buy a ticket the chances are zero.
Just remember, Zombie Apocalypse.
Exactly.
Not from what I see!! Pre pandemic I was flying rnd trip to Phuket and Boracay out of chicago with 1 stop in Shanghai for $457.00. since pandemic till now, china closed its transfer hubs and all transfers now are in the middle east... cheapest 1 stops are $1,700 and trnsfer in Istanbul or Doha...
Ffffffffffffffk that!!!
I spent a week as a tourist in Hong Kong in 2012. It was a wonderful city to explore and enjoy.
Now I would not go, even with a free ticket.
That being said the Lefties in USA and Europe will jump at the chance for a free ticket.
These are the same Lefties that travel to Cuba because they think Communism is cool.
I believe hong kong ia controlled by china, so no thanks.
..............
China gave us Biden, so what is your point
Cause and effect.
Not all of them returned after the three years.
