This is the same mayor who was detained by the Russians early in the war.
He has an incentive to spread misinformation. He’s also not the current mayor, having been replaced back then.

The reason I even brought that up is due to mention of the railway system in Zaporizhzhia being disrupted. Going after and trashing lines of communication is a significant strategy shift, that really messes up coordinations and timetables for the Ruskies. Guarantee you there's even more going on than what's being reported. Death by a thousand papercuts by organized and irregular forces on Ruskie assets everywhere.
