this is another fkn fake picture man... htf can you actually sit there and defend it. you must be as duped as the rest oooohing and aaaahhing over it... there aint no fkn way an amateurs telescope caught that much clarity of the moon, and no way would the shadow be that crisp on a gas.

Actually he's not the first amateur to actually get surface detail from Jovian moon. Btw, you seem really angry.

lol..Some astrophotographers are producing unbelievable images today. Their work is awesome, thanks in a big part to technology available today, like tracking systems, optics, cameras, data processing etc...

I don’t know anything about the optical quality of modern consumer telescopes, so can’t comment on that issue. But as a semi pro photographer, you are 100% correct about the APODs. The worst one I’ve seen recently was Sep 28, Furious Sky Over Mount Shasta. I could live with the Star Glow filter they used, but not the composited nebula and the fact they blew the MW up about 4times. Or took it with a different focal length lens. There’s no way the MW is seen that large from Earth.
