If not, if he was just obeying a hunch, then where was his probable cause to begin with?

He doesn't actually need probable cause according to some here. He can just walk up to a car, yank open the door and demand the occupants immediately bow down to his authority. Any action on their part but abject abasement, is grounds to start shooting them immediately.

Improbable cause. I would also refer to civil asset forfeiture as an example of applied improbable cause.

FR is very interesting. There are many people here that think any police action is justified. Almost as if some people on here don’t really want the”free”, but rather prefer authoritarian top down control.
