Even in strong 2A states, there are usually laws prohibiting firearms in federal buildings, on school grounds, and in secure airport areas.
And as a side point, you’ve got to be careful with the federal property part. Don’t carry in federal courthouses and in post offices. We all know that. But what about a building in a federal park? Go into a visitor center there while carrying, and you’re breaking the law.
