Why not have the technology ready and in place ..before destroying gas and oil?
Sometime in the year 2335?
And then it could be a smooth transition

Oh right.. we’re pretending the planet.
The same way we are pretending men can be women.
Or,saving the unborn is extreme.
Or spending trillions we don’t have is good for the economy..

No gas/oil, no EVs. That’s the part they leave out.

The “transition” from steam cars (and even first-generation EVs like the Baker and others) to gasoline was “smooth” because of private sector innovations, particularly the electric starter motor.
