Except for the ones massing in Crimea and Kherson preparing for the next offensive?
That is what satellite imagery is showing.
Everything claiming is a lie, a lie that will be very obvious soon.
If there is no surrender by Ukraine, the Russians will keep going and take Odessa and everything east of the Dnieper river at minimum.
Russia OWNS the air. I'd expect a US-style "shock and awe" campaign if there isn't a Ukrainian surrender that wipes out infrastructure and command centers.
Putin isn't bluffing when he says "we haven't really started yet".
Gee, doesn't sound to me (or I think to anyone) that Ukraine is planning on surrendering. So if Russia really does have the ability to take Odessa so easily, why hasn't it? I mean, it's now been more than 7 months of Ukraine not surrendering , so you'd figured that Russia would have grabbed such a great prize much earlier if they could have managed it.
Just think of the boost it would be to the morale of Russian troops to hear that they've taken Odessa! Just think of how destructive that would be to the morale of Ukrainian troops! And just think of its effect in Europe and the United States if it was confirmed that Ukraine was now cut off from the Black Sea, and clearly wouldn't be able to hold on for much longer! They likely cut off aid, insist on immediate peace talks, etc..
And yet, despite all the obvious benefits that would flow from Russia taking Ukraine, it hasn't.
Curious, isn't it?
