An example is a daily diabetic diet. Many healthcare providers believe that the best approach for people with type 2 diabetes is to eat more, smaller meals at regular intervals throughout the day. Typically experts recommend eating six times a day.

More cutting edge doctors seem to be against this approach. Check out Dr. Jason Fung.

One of the major enemies of weight control is losing control. I’ve been determined a diabetic since the late 80’s, and the most success I’ve had with the comfort of feeling better is multiple meals of less during the day. Now of course diabetes is not an exact science as the body reacts different every day with the many outside the body “triggers” like stress, exercise amount, how much sleep you got last night...there’s more. So to say there’s a one size fits all way of accomplishing even a modified lifestyle is being overzealous at best. And of course there are always scientists who will disagree with another theory on everything except death. They all seem basically to agree on that one even though there might be a heart rate with no brain waves or visa versa. Nothing is simple.
