This is gods with a little g. Amazingly the same gods that were once worshipped by Israel when they disobeyed Yahweh, are being worshipped (with graven idols) today in America. Example:

New York’s Bull is on Wall Street - our worship of wealth is Baal

Same as the god Baal that the Israelites built a golden statue to and worshipped while Moses was up Mount Sinai.
