Seattle residents have been breathing smoky air from this fire for at least a week. Naturally, the climate fanatics are in their element. Drought! Worst air quality in 6,000 years! 100% of salmon and orcas in Washington state are dead!

The last three months have been warmer than normal and drier than normal. July and August are always our driest and warmest months. However, this weather pattern is completely consistent with a La Nina (cooler Pacific Ocean) year.
