GOP Candidate for Senate in Washington State Receives Cease and Desist Letters for Highlighting Democrat Failures and Lawlessness
GATEWAY PUNDIT ^ | JIM HOFT

Pointing out the Truth about Democrats gets you threats of lawsuits.

(We know this well at The Gateway Pundit!)

Three Seattle-based far-left companies including the Seattle Times are demanding GOP Senate Candidate Tiffany Smiley stop using them in her ads on Democrat failures and lawlessness.

Tiffany Smiley cut an ad showing a shuttered Starbucks coffee shop in downtown Seattle. The city is so violent and lawless under Democrat rule that even Starbucks had to shut down in the city.

It’s a great ad. The truth hurts.

The Seattle Times is threatening Tiffany Smiley for using an image from their report on Starbucks closing its doors. This same leftist paper allowed Murray to use their logo and headlines for her 2016 campaign.

The Seattle Times reported:

Three Seattle-based corporations, including The Seattle Times, have asked Tiffany Smiley, the Republican challenger for U.S. Senate, to stop using their copyrighted material in campaign ads, spurring a fiery response from Smiley’s campaign, which filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission.

The Seattle Times, Starbucks and the Seattle Seahawks each, over the past few weeks, has objected to Smiley campaign ads that contain the companies’ corporate logos.

Well, we already know this won't go anywhere, since we've been told that the courts don't like to get involved in political matters.

At least when relief is sought by Republicans.

Communist-controlled companies will certainly use the same tactics of tyranny as used by their beloved leader and his congressional apparatchiks...

The ongoing communist purge reaches into every single facet of everyday American life...

Political speech is freestanding. Think of all the cartoons in 19th century newspapers. What is the legal precedent?

A couple of comments. Anyone can object to the use of their own copyrighted material by another without payment or permission. It is their right to object to that.

More importantly, there is a Washington Supreme Court decision that says the politicians can lie, that voters should expect them to lie and that the ballot box and not the courts are the way to resolve such issues.

What is happening is the the lawsuit is an October surprise to slime Patty Mom in tennis shoes opponent. This is about media and certain attorneys knowing they will get media attention to the charges, it will damage Smiley politically and the courts will not be able to move quickly enough for bad publicity to result.

How is showing a publicly distributed newspaper lawsuit worthy? I know, this is the new woke world.

Add recording of Woodie Guthrie singing So Long, It’s Been Good to Know Ya to pictures of bleak landscape of Seattle, including dumpster fires, BLM-inflicted damage, that weird zone, and homeless defacating, but with all photos of Starbucks blocked with avatar saying “pictures of Starbucks blocked per request of corporation”. They wanna sue? Please!

Has anyone found one naughty, even just a small one like a commie RAT throwing gum down on the sidewalk over the past year? For some reason, the fags in the far left “media” are bound and determined to paint EVERY Republican as an evil, blood thirsty criminal and the transgender RATS as all being angels from heaven. The trouble with this is, there are a lot of low I.Q., ignorant voters who believe EVERYTHING they see on CNN and TV. Everything.

The point of the lawsuit is to give media outlets an excuse to not allow it to be shown on their platforms.
