I don’t understand why anyone would send funding to a politician who has lost a race at one level and then tries for an even higher office. If he couldn’t win at the senatorial try, what makes anyone think he’s a good candidate for any office? Or, maybe there is no logic. I’ve often felt that people who run, especially for president, often do it not because they think they’ll win but for money, recognition and so they’ll be considered for running mate. There are lots of reasons that have nothing to do with politics and everything to do with finance. Anthony Weiner (Mr. Sexter of children) had to run for office because he had well over a million campaign funding dollars he couldn’t touch otherwise. I’d like to see what he bought with it, but apparently, he could have bought a building that he’ll actually own (for his campaign, of course) or a BMW...all of which are legal. (Because the rules are set by Congress, of course.)
Running to fail, but scored her VP position, Harris did well for a sexual sales job.
He did not lose by a lot, on many metrics, he can sell himself as a possible winner.
The Left has different assumptions about reality. Most of the assumptions are wrong.
