We were married nearly 49 years.
He passed last October 3.
Tomorrow is going to be rough for me.

I’ve been helping the husband of my dear friend clean out her stuff. She died in July after being hospitalized for a heart issue that is common and commonly fixable. Was supposed to be out in three days. She was 81 and fully engaged in living her life.

I don’t know if she had Covid; nobody said either way. After doing well for several days, all of a sudden she was intubated. Then she was on a ventilator. Then I got the text from her husband, “Judy left us this morning.”

She was fully vaccinated, and I suspect it killed her. I didn’t want to mention that to her husband. It wouldn’t help anything, and could only make him feel worse. But they murdered her, IMO.
