Prayers for you and your dog.

My beloved tuxedo cat had to have a leg amputated four years ago. He’s large and in charge and has no idea he’s handicapped. Animals are tough, resilient and adaptable. You have every reason to be optimistic. Best wishes to you both.

Exactly. See my post above. Dog don’t seem to be saddled with the mental handicap the humans do when we lose a limb and have to overcome it.

It is my belief it doesn’t even enter into their mental calculations. They don’t seem to mourn that missing limb as much as they seem to relish the fact that they can run to the dog dish on three remaining ones.
