The Russians have their shelters, starting with the Moscow Subway, complete with blast doors, so many there will do ok.

Definitely Soviet-built. Given that Ukraine kicked up 7 months ago and the NY Times was running articles saying “Well, a nuclear war may not be that bad” (or something close to that), they’re likely in pretty good shape at this point.
