So has anyone learned why the men were arrested?
I did read the article as much as I cared to, I can’t see that it says.

After skimming the article, and not finding the answer, I jumped to the comments to see if anyone did the heavy lifting and discerned the answer.
Alas, no....
I don’t know why. But the men might gave been brought in for questioning if no one thought to call EMTs or the cops first. Possibly the cops thought a crime scene was created or disturbed before they were summoned to it. Suppose, for example, it turns out that the young woman’s injuries are not consistent with how the cops were told she received them.
Routine procedure, I guess.
They were on the same floor (thus had opportunity to kill her earlier?).
They rushed in to help her (why so eager to return to the scene of the "accident"?).
Plus, they were not a protected minority. Nothing to negate the police's routine suspicions.
