You assume that Cain challenged Abel to a fight and that Abel was a weak man. Farm work without machinery is hard work, whether it be grain or livestock. The Bible says that Cain rose up and slew his brother. Hard to stop a murder if you have no idea it’s coming.
Maybe you are thinking of Jacob, who wasn’t as macho as Esau.

How do you know Abel had no idea it was coming? The Bible just says that they were in the field, and Cain slew Abel,
apparently out of jealousy.

In any event, my original comment was that “Might makes right” went out the window with that murder, because God punished Cain by putting a curse on him and banishing him. If “might makes right,” then God would not have punished Cain. But, God DID punish Cain, because what Cain did to Abel was NOT right.
