“Irretrievable fact: by the end of next week Russia most certainly will be on the way to add over 100,000 km2 and over 5 million people to the Federation.
....
Russia already controls the territory that produces 95 percent of Ukrainian GDP. It has no need to press further west.” Donbass will be fully liberated and the next step is Odessa. Moscow is “in no hurry. The Russians are nothing if not methodical and deliberate. Ukrainian forces are bleeding to death in counterattack after counterattack. Why rush?”

You need to read your Carnegie link.
It doesn’t contain anything to contradict the regional GDP numbers I provided you that dispute the preposterous notion that the entire rest of Ukraine, with the largest cities, has only 5% of the GDP. In fact, the Carnegie link doesn’t have anything about regional growth, and no information more current than 2010. You’re peddling fiction and then hoping no one will check.
Or did you never check? Try it now, tell me where in that Carnegie link you find support for the idea that Luhansk and Donetsk regions create 95% of Ukrainian GDP.
You’ve been duped.
