The Neocons are pretending Russia is responsible for blowing up the pipelines and hoping to use that as an excuse to enact Article 5 and drag NATO into this war.

That's silly.

Nobody is proposing having US armed forces shoot at Russia EXCEPT if Russians uses nuclear weapons, at which point all bets are off.

Russia will never resort to tactical nukes unless their backs are against the wall and enemy forces are threatening their border. Ukraine alone will never be able to accomplish that without NATO being drawn in.
