Can you do FR a favor? Go down to your local firehouse and ask the firefighters how many times they have seen a car with an ICE explode. Even the gas tanks don’t explode. They pop, drain and form a flaming puddle.
Car explosions are for the movies.
I was a firefighter for 10 years. Went to lots and lots of vehicle fires. Standard practice was to pull an inch and a half. Never had one where we couldn’t put it out with the water we carried on the pumper, usually 500 gallons.
I’ve seen lots of videos of EV fires and it appears that you can’t put them out regardless of how much water you put on them. And then there are the toxic fumes. I suspect SOP will be to let them burn out and protect exposures. It’s going to be a f’n mess.
