Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0 Over Ukraine? It is safe to assume that any use of nuclear weapons could quickly lead to an escalation of a local or regional conflict into a global one.

If Russia launches a tactical nuke the best response is doing nothing…for a while. The global condemnation would be extreme. Even their allies would step back.

No one is going to incinerate Europe—let alone the world, over Ukraine.

Thank you - too many here have developed woke brains w/o even realizing it. Before long, they’ll be right at home on twitter.

What if that tactical nuke was used against an American base in Europe?

That is obviously a different issue. That would be an attack on NATO.

"As Henry Kissinger wrote in 2014, “The demonization of Vladimir Putin is not a policy; it is an alibi for the absence of one.”"

Some here would do well by reading that several times, engaging the brain rather than, well...you know.

Besides the fact that demonizing Putin - in contrast to the ad hominem, I am certainly not a blind supporter - aligns directly with demoncrats and globalists keen to cause global disruption pursuant to their goals.

With Ukraine officially asking to enter NATO the FR warmongers are probably going to get their wish and there will be a WMD exchange in Europe. Sadly, I don’t think it will remain confined to Europe and there will be a major ICBM exchange between us and Russia. All of it needless.

I feel like Taylor on the beach looking at the battered statue of liberty screaming you maniacs blew it up! And all for total corruption and the sh*thole the Ukraine.

One of the rules of employing unconventional weapons (nuclear, biological, chemical) is don’t use them when they might blow back in your own face. Because of prevailing westerly winds, Russia can’t nuke the Ukraine without risking the fallout drifting over their own provinces of Rostov, Voronezh, Belgorod and Kursk.

The result would be like Phoenix nuking San Diego. It might seem like a good idea at the time but the fallout eventually will reach Phoenix, too.

Thanks for posting. Good comments.

Too bas there’s not more of that on both sides of the issue. But too many propaganda pushing mouth-breathers are involved on a regional and national scale.
