When I voluntarily joined back in 80, I came in 16 pounds overweight. I lost that 16 pounds very quickly and another 20 after that. It was good to have a motivational TI assist me in developing my running skills.
I wonder if there was a lot of difference between a teen of the 1970s being 20 pounds overweight but still being one of the boys riding bikes, playing ball, chasing, climbing, and running, as was normal then, versus a couch sitting, fat teen of today who doesn’t even own a bike, or climb trees, or play sandlot football.
