Hahaha…you must have remembered me complaining!
We’ll, it is true there are worse things…:)
Did you write that? If so nicely done!
High quality Ginko brought my tinnitus down to low levels. Sugar and salt will aggravate it.

Good to know thanks
“Me too - USMC artillery in VN.”
Over 70% of my life a sound like a TV station “test pattern signal” has been constant companion. Occasionally “sumphin” causes the pitch of the “sound” to intensify for a brief period. Reckon in part it’s an occupational hazard for once being an 0341 mortar-man.
Your tag indicates service as an 0811, so I’ll say Thank You for perhaps having provided support on one occasion or the other. Weather being such in I-Corp, artillery was more readily available that CAS.

From what I read, William Shatner’s tinnitus is so bad he said a couple of times he contemplated suicide.
Yes I did. Thank you. It came to me last night (I couldn’t sleep) and I finished it this morning.
I’m not suicidal but I understand why someone would be.
#7 This is the insect that crawled into your ear and is slowly eating it’s way to the other ear to get out... : )
funny but I can actually give a visual of what mine sounds like!! picture 3 - 7/8s, a 4 - 5/8s and a few 7/16s wrenchs being dragged along like beer cans on a just married car. and then someone is on a switch turning the sound on and off sporadically!! that is what mine actually sounds like!! drives me nuts sometimes!!
I enjoyed commiserating!
I live with the sound of cicadas even in winter.
Yet, I can live with that, the tinkling jingly bells
were enough to drive me over the edge.
Mine is very metallic. In cold weather it’s miserable.
