thanks, I remember years ago when Free Republic was a forum for great thinkers and good ideas. At times I think we picked up a few disgruntled FB people who like shouting insults and hurling epitaphs. Sometimes it is just SOUND bites and knee jerk reaction, instead of well thought out ideas of how we can make the world better. Thanks..this posts reminds us to be tolerant, kind and be NICE...and get our MAGA people across the finish line, not by shouting, but by putting forth the best idea.

You are right about the intellectual greatness that once existed here. It was a real salon of ideas and meaningful exchange of opinions. Many of those people regrettably moved on.
