A couple of years ago in Florida, some kids stole a stop sign from an intersection to use as a decoration in their dorm room. A car drove through the intersection without stopping and killed someone in another car that had stopped and then proceeded. The kids all went to prison for (I think third degree) murder.

Basically any road modification done by an unauthorized person (other than a Leftist) that affects traffic and causes a serious accident is a felony. Something that parents should tell kids who like to ‘mess around’.
