I remember being interviewed by Katie Couric when I lived in Phoenix AZ. We did the interview outside (at their request) and it was windy. My earpiece kept falling out and I just had to guess what she was going to ask. She really didn’t care what I was saying. LOL!
If it is a "puff" piece, all the interviewee has to do is smile and nod.
