It sounds like you send $$$ your candidates way at least. Lots of our candidates on the gov and senate levels need $$$ too.
I agree with the article completely. We must remember most people, i.e.voters are not die hard libs or conservatives. Most dont follow politics at all. Its better to refuse to respond at all than lie and say you are for the other guy. Human nature makes people want to vote for the winner. Like it or not people want to be accepted and liked by others. When you see a bunch of yard signs in your neighborhood, you think, well he must be a well liked guy, everyone seems to like him, they must know something about him I don’t know, I think I will vote for him, etc. Some will not vote if they think their guy will lose and yet some will go with who they think will win. Enough of them to make a difference in some close elections.
Remember the pollsters don’t care what you think, its to effect the undecided voters or those who will change their minds.
Remember we are an echo chamber here, most people and voters are not like us.
It helps them determine a plausibility window for cheating via manufactured votes.
Honestly, that’s already in place anyways.
