I was listening to a motel owner talking about EVs, and they said something like “If I have 50 rooms, do I have to get 50 charging stations, or supply cords or outlets in each parking space? What do they expect me to do?”
I admit I had not thought of that. I’ll bet the big brains did.

Well, they don’t have to supply gas to ICE vehicles. Of course, supplying electricity may be a nice thing to charge extra for.
But yeah, as usual, the leaders haven’t really thought this through. They just see it as going back to the 70’s where the government could just require better mileage and emissions and the industry stepped up - because the room for improvement was there.
The EV stuff is nuts.
