The Tea Party had no leadership. Trump gave us a leader that could galvanize people.

This is true.

However, there are two specific things that Trump provides that The Tea Party did not, or could not:

1. Leadership.
   • He may be crass.
   • He may be eccentric.
   • He may be mercurial.
   • He may be inexperienced.
   • He may make mistakes.
   • But he does not lie down and roll over.
   • Trump provides a planted flag that serves as a rallying point that The Tea Party never had.

• Trump makes the Left "Show their asses".
  • This is valuable, it provides intelligence to show us empirically exactly where their vulnerable spots are. Granted, HE is their "vulnerable spot", but when Trump is in place, we can calibrate our efforts based on their screams of outrage. They cannot help themselves. This aspect has value. "Bipartisanship" isn't an option with the current political opposition.

Tea Party was afflicted with people who used it to further their own political careers...Katrina Pierson, for example. She saw the opportunity to run for office and/or multiple appearances on cable news, not to promote the interests of the TEA Party.
